    CaliTrack is calibration and gauge management software, which is applicable for all kinds of gauges and measuring instruments used in a standard room or a laboratory.

    The new version of CaliTrack 1.07 released on 22nd December 2006 is a multi-user system that enables users to manage independent activities in a single database having comprehensive access control with passwords and roles (Manager/Operator). CaliTrack meets the requirements of national and international quality standards such as IS-3455, IS-4218 and QS-9000.

    Ideally it’s a complete gauge maintenance and calibration control system.

    • Standards incorporated

      For Non IS Gauges and Instruments, Calibration Procedures can be defined. Drawing Specifications can be maintained for the same.

    • Gauge Database

      1. User-friendly graphical interfaces.
      2. Each gauge in the database is given a unique Gauge No for identification.
      3. Adding a new gauge record is easy.
      4. User can duplicate a record of a gauge while adding a new gauge record.
      5. Records of all gauges can be edited.

      The information of the instrument used to inspect the gauge is also held in the database.
      The Traceability of the gauges is also stored in the database.

    • Calibration

      1. For Non IS Gauges and Instruments, Calibration Procedures can be defined. Calibration Procedures having unlimited parameters/dimensions can be defined.
      2. An unlimited number of records can be filled for each gauge in chronological order.
      3. Each Calibration record has Actual date, Calibration Date and Next Date. The Actual Date is the real calibration date without considering any holiday or weekly off. The Calibration Date is the date after considering the Holidays and Weekly offs. The Next Date is the next calibration date.
      4. Each calibration record, in addition with those dates, contains the measurements of parameters/dimensions as defined in the IS standard or in Calibration Procedure, the status of the gauge, the initials of the person who certified, the person who calibrated, remarks.
      5. Calibration Dates and Next Calibration Date are automatically calculated considering the Weekly offs and Holidays.
      6. Whenever a calibration record is added in the database, an entry is made in the history file. A complete history of the life of each gauge can be maintained in the database for audit purposes.

    • Multi-user system

      1. Its a multi-user system where in the database can be stored on one system (Machine) and be accessed from other systems on the network.
      2. Multiple users can be created to access the system.
      3. Security and integrity of database is maintained. Duplication of records is avoided.
      4. User preferences can be stored in the database

    • Search

      1. Individual records can be searched based on the fields of the record
      2. All the forms have this search facility

    • Reports

      1. History Cards.
      2. Pending for Calibration
      3. Calibration Schedule
      4. Department wise, Line wise, Type wise etc.
      5. Supervisor/Vendor Issued, Received, Pending.
      6. Other reports, Masters, Gauge wise and Gauge Type wise

      Apart from the reports in specific formats, report listings are given wherever necessary.

        Apart from pre-defined reports the user can get certain reports in the form of listings. These listings can be printed, exported to MS-Word, MS-Excel, and Html. For e.g. Gauge Type no of gauges, Status wise no of gauges.

      2. Query Builder

        For customized report listings. The user can get outputs in the pre-defined report formats or In-built Query listings; apart from this he can create his own listings/reports with the use of query builder. He can select fields, give his own conditions.
